A baby and a Pit Bull by erinsconrad A baby and a Pit Bull by erinsconrad
Not all Pits are bad....only about 1% are. Just like ANY OTHER DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact its the owners fault not the dogs.

EXACTLY!! It's all in how you raise the dog!! When there's a mean dog it is the OWNERS fault for not raising it right, not the dogs

At school it did a whole debate on pitbulls and won. Most dog attacks are from little dogs but no one cares because there so small pitbulls are great and loving family dogs

Quick pit bull story since I'm on a pit picture.

So I have this crazy red neck neighbor who lets his crazy pit bull run the neighborhood. I was checking the mail and it charged the old lady next door so, having worked with aggressive dogs, I grabbed it by the collar and pulled it off of her. She told me I better get rid of my dog or she'd call the cops, and I'm like "It's not my dog" but she didn't seem to hear me. So I returned it to it's owner, told him, and let it be. I have a much bigger, much more docile pit bull and I'm walking a few days later and she calls the cops on me. I was so angry. So the owner has a lot to do with the dog, I mean I swear the dude was on something illegal when he answered the door. It was like 3 pm and he was asleep. So yeah, that didn't really pertain to anything, but I thought I'd share a story. I am SO glad I don't live next to either of them any more.

The watermark really takes away from this.
Couldn't you have used a lower opacity and made it a little smaller?
It still would have been noticeable enough that no one could steal your work.

Bad dog has a bad master. There isn't a bad race, there is bad master that use violence on his dog and dog become aggressive.

I agree it's the owners fault for bad dogs (of any sort)
But pit bulls still freak me out (I was very nearly attacked by one that got loose a couple years ago... it still gets me jittery thinking about it)

He is a cute dog, though... and that little girl is even cuter :aww:

i feel sorry for pits cuz they dont have a voice so they dont have a say on what people think about them. i have three very nice pits. one of them was saved from a bad man that abused him and faught him. he only trusts me now, but i helped him learn a new life, the good one, where he is fed, lazy, bathed, and loved.

pit bull
by ~darastriktsuki

Every year pit bull terriers are responsible for the death of 3 people.

40 children a year drown in 5 gallon water pails, in your lifetime you are 16 times more likely to drown in a 5 gallon water pail then be killed by a pit bull.

Pit bulls were known as the number 1 family dog in the 20th century, but the very same qualities that make this breed such a wonderful pet, are also valued by those who use them as fighting dogs, training them in brutal methods, some even going as far as to sew bottle caps under the dogs skin to ensure they're in constant pain, to make then more aggresive.

150 people a year are killed by falling coconuts, making you 60 times more likely to be killed by a palm tree then by a put bull.

Pit bull puppies, ones that have never fought before are often killed because their parents were fighters, since when did it become guilty until proven innocent?

According to the American Canine Temperament Testing Association, 82.5% of the American Pit Bull Terriers that took the temperament test passed, compared to a 77% passing rate for all breeds on average. In the test a dog is placed in a series of confrontational situations. The first sign of aggression or panic is a failure of the test. Pit Bulls have achieved the fourth highest passing rate of all 122 breeds tested.

It is more then half a million times more likely that a human will kill a pit-bull then the other way around.

For every pit bull that kills, there are 10.5 million that don't.

Most pit bulls are killed by they're owners because they REFUSE TO FIGHT in dogfights.

So millions of pit bulls are being blamed for the actions of .94% of the breed.

Copy and repost this if you think the banning/killing of pitbulls is wrong.

I love the pic, it shows that pit bulls true nature. It's sad what humans have done to this breed. Once known as the nanny breed now they have gotten a bad rap and are banned in so many places. It makes me so sad. I wish more people could know them for there true nature. Too know a pit bull is to fall in love with them.

you're so right, the owners are the problem in most cases not the dogs.
But it's sad that often a special type of people choose this kind of dog. (don't argue with me about that, it's what I've seen. :( )
still I realy like this pic, because it show how cute and harmless such a dog can be...if it is in the right family.

I love how this show how truly gentle the pitbull cab be! My cousin used to have one that was such a big baby! She being like close to 80lbs still tried to be just a big old lap dog and forced you to share a twin size bed with her cause she just wanted to be that close to the people she loved!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PIC!!
